About Joe Donaldson
I am a Christ-follower, married 32 years to Julie, father to Kelli, father-in-law to Jordan, and grandfather to Lucy (born 09/09). I’ve occupied the second chair most of my life as a youth pastor and associate pastor. I am on the staff of Our Savior’s Baptist Church in Federal Way, WA where I am heavily involved in mentoring men and coaching group leaders. I enjoy reading on my Kindle, spending time with my wife, and going to baseball games. While I get to serve with a great team and help lead a great church, the opinions and views shared here are my own and not necessarily the views of Our Savior’s or other staff.

I’m writing a book on effectively leading a men’s ministry. I’m nowhere near finished, but the Lord is taking me step by step through both the writing process and the application. I just stumbled onto your blog while looking for review to Murrow’s latest work. I’m still in the first section, and must agree with you that I’m intrigued. Glad to have you in my little blog community! I’m in talks with Murrow about speaking at our church sometime in the next year. We are exploring a “men only” class at church to instill a little more masculinity to our personal and corporate spiritual development. Might call in “The Brotherhood” or “Band of Brothers.” Still very much in the conceptual stages. I would be interested in reading what you have so far or hearing any suggestions you might have for us as we move toward implementation.
